COCA COLA CLASSIC:

Gladwin was looking for a little revenge and they got it in the final of the Coca Cola Classic Baseball Tournament at Sinclair Yards Sunday afternoon.

Playing a Stanwood team that blanked them 8-0 in the final round robin game on Saturday, Gladwin played some shutout ball of their own by claiming the tournament championship with a 10-0 win over Stanwood.

Gladwin's offensive output was surprising, considering that Stanwood gave up only one run in their four games prior to the final. Their only run surrendered was to the Cambrian Mazda Black Sox in a 9-1 win on Saturday.

In semi-final action, Stanwood beat Marquette 8-0 and Gladwin edged Portage Lake 6-4.
