Knights lead hockey final 2-0

Game three is set for Thursday

The St. Mary's Knights have taken a commanding lead in the best-of-5 high school hockey city final.

Aussie Rowe had the overtime winner as the Knights beat the Korah Colts 4-3.

Jonny Hammond and Daniel Mills had power play goals for St. Mary's while Matt Capisciolto also scored.

Isaac Lennox had a pair of goals for the Colts. Liam Brescasin had a goal and an assist.

The Knights will take a 2-0 series lead into game three on Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at the John Rhodes Community Centre. The game, which has been reschedule due to the sickness of a number of players after a gas leak at the McMeeken, was originally schedule for Wednesday afternoon.
