Knights beat Huskies in high school hockey

The Knights have scored 16 goals in their past two games, both wins

The offensive production has amped up for the St. Mary’s Knights in the local high school hockey loop.

After a 9-1 win over Korah on Wednesday, St. Mary’s skated to a 7-3 win over the CASS Huskies on Thursday at the John Rhodes Community Centre.

Chuck Webb had a goal and two assists while Nick Niro had two goals and an assist for the Knights against CASS.

Colby Arbour, who had three points in Wednesday’s win, assisted on a pair of St. Mary’s goals against CASS, as did Christian Alfano.

Theo Smith, Isaac Parise, Kyle Finateri, and Nathan Rowe also scored for the Knights.

Michael Shaw had a pair of goals for CASS while Chase MacIntyre also scored.

CASS returns to action on Friday night in Thessalon against Superior Heights.

High school hockey the continues on Sunday when Superior Heights faces Korah at the GFL Memorial Gardens.
