Kment leads senior Colts to win

High school basketball action resumed on Wednesday night

Matt Kment paced the Korah Colts to a convincing victory in senior boy’s high school basketball on Wednesday night.

Kment led all scorers with 26 points as the Colts picked up an 81-50 victory over the Superior Heights Steelhawks at Superior Heights.

Brennan Mitchell added 17 points for the Colts while Jackson Hart led Superior Heights with 22 points.

Wednesday’s other senior game saw Cole Evans score 29 points to lead the St. Mary’s Knights to a 59-46 win over the White Pines Wolverines at White Pines.

Max Fasalo had 12 points for St. Mary’s.

Bishop Whitmell led White Pines with 12 points.

In junior action on Wednesday night, Kyle Duidenski scored 19 points to lead Superior Heights to a 47-40 victory over Korah. Jackson Nacarato had 17 points for Korah.

Wednesday’s other junior game saw St. Mary’s beat White Pines 62-34. Kyle Finateri had 24 points for St. Mary’s while Chase Peplow had 15 points for White Pines.
