Sunday will be another busy day at Kinross Speedpark.

With the usual race program scheduled, three divisions will see double features after rain shortened the week two program.

The day, which is Fan Appreciation Day at the track, will mean double features in both ABC Stock divisions as well as the Four Cylinder division.

It’s been a good start to the race season for a number of local drivers at the track.

Dustin Jackson currently leads the points standings in the Modified Division with 61 points and a five-point lead over Cody MacLean. Petoskey’ Mich. driver Buddy Gray IV is third while Leila Uhlman (42 points) and Mark Porpelia (41) round out the top five in the division.

Keenan Spurway and Jason Praysner currently site third and fourth respectively in the ABC Stock Car A-Division points standings and remain in the battle for top spot heading into Sunday’s action.

Sault Ste. Marie’s John Carter is in a tight battle for top spot in the ABC Stock Car B-Division standings, trailing Petoskey, Mich. driver Brandon Carson by a single point.

Brent Fewchuk heads into Sunday with a six-point lead atop the Four Cylinder Division points standings heading into Sunday’s race program. Fewchuk’s sister Rebecca sits fourth while father Ken is sixth.

As part of the fan appreciation event, fans can take advantage of the special main grandstand admission price of $5.
