A modest winning streak of two games ended for the Greyhounds Friday night before a crowd of 3,130 at the Sault Memorial Gardens. Ryan Aschaber won a goaltending duel with Adam Munro as the Windsor Spitfires trimmed the Hounds 3-1. Winger Jeff Doyle, acquired earlier in the week in a trade with Munro and Scott Dobben from the Erie Otters, had the only goal for the Hounds, who outshot Windsor 30-29. In another Ontario Hockey League game of interest on Friday, the top-ranked Sarnia Sting was blasted 6-1 by the London Knights. It was the second loss in a row for Sarnia, which lost 4-3 to the Hounds on Wednesday.
