Three goals in the third period lifted the Greyhounds to a 5-3 win over the Sudbury Wolves before more than 3,500 fans Sunday night at Memorial Gardens. The game was the Hounds' first since before Christmas and the win was the eighth in 12 games for the surging Soo. Jeff Carter's second goal of the game into an empty net sealed the victory for the Hounds, who were outshot 35-32 and received another star performance from overage goalie Adam Munro. The Hounds' other two overage players also played roles in the win. Matt Herneisen had a pair of goals and Mike Amodeo rounded out the Soo scoring. Power forward Jeff Doyle had three assists for the Hounds, who play the Wolves again on Friday, this time in Sudbury. Bobby Chaumont scored twice for Sudbury.
