The Greyhounds lost for the third time in four games Friday, a 5-2 setback to the Brampton Battalion before 2,705 fans at Memorial Gardens. It was a listless affair for the most part, as the Hounds seemed to be lulled into a team-like trance by the visiting Troops, who scored their five goals on just 29 shots on Soo goalie Adam Munro. Munro now has a 7-6 record since being acquired from Erie. Scott Dobben and Mike Amodeo scored for the Hounds, who rifled 35 shots at Brampton goalie Brad Topping. The Hounds are now 12-20-3-1 on the season. ROUNDUP: In other games Friday, former Hound defenceman Niko Tuomi assisted on the only Guelph goal as the Storm lost 5-1 to the Sarnia Sting. Sooite T.J. Aceti made 31 saves as the Erie Otters doubled the Owen Sound Attack 4-2. Local products Drew Fata and Alan Nolan each had an assist as the Toronto St. Michael's Majors upended the Oshawa Generals 4-1. Sooite Craig Kennedy had a goal as the Windsor Spitfires scored a 3-2 road win over the London Knights before 7,744 fans at the John Labatt Centre. The Saginaw Spirit lost its 11th game in succession, 3-1 to the Sudbury Wolves. Saginaw is in the Soo to play the Hounds on Sunday night. Reinstated phenom Patrick O'Sullivan scored three goals as the Mississauga IceDogs cuffed the Kingston Frontenacs 6-1. More than 8,200 fans were on hand at the Ottawa Civic Centre as the 67s were held to a 2-2 tie by the visiting Plymouth Whalers. And Andre Benoit scored twice as the Kitchener Rangers edged the Peterborough Petes 3-2.
