Hounds hosting Teddy Bear Toss during Sunday's game

Fans encouraged to bring stuffed animal to the game and throw the toy onto the ice when the Hounds score their first goal; all donations from this event will go towards Christmas Cheer

Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club will be hosting its annual Teddy Bear Toss and Stuff-A-Bus event during the home game this weekend against the Owen Sound Attack.

As a part of the event, fans can bring a stuffed animal to the game and throw the toy onto the ice when the Hounds score their first goal.

All donations from this event will be sent to Christmas Cheer.

The game starts on Dec. 4 at the GFL Memorial Gardens at 2:07 p.m.

With the holiday season just around the corner, the Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club is pleased to be hosting its annual Teddy Bear Toss and Stuff-A-Bus presented by Bell on Sunday, Dec. 4 when they play host to the Owen Sound Attack.

Game time is 2:07 p.m. at the GFL Memorial Gardens.

All fans attending the game are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal to the game and when the Hounds score their first goal of the game, fans are to throw the stuffed animals onto the ice. Please place stuffed animals in a plastic bags prior to tossing them on the ice.

For the 'Stuff-A-Bus' portion of the event, a Sault Transit bus will be parked at the main entrance of the GFL Memorial Gardens and staff will be accepting donations of new toys and winter clothing (socks, hats, mitts, scarves, and jackets) along with non-perishable food items.

All donations from this event will go towards Christmas Cheer to help brighten the holidays for thousands of families in our community.

The Soo Greyhounds would like to thank all our fans in advance for their continued support of this great event and we look forward to seeing you all rink side on Sunday Dec. 4.
