A four-game Greyhound winning streak came to an end Saturday night in Plymouth. The Whalers built up a 3-0 after the first period and beat the Hounds 5-3 before more than 3,100 fans at Compuware Arena.

A four-game Greyhound winning streak came to an end Saturday night in Plymouth. The Whalers built up a 3-0 after the first period and beat the Hounds 5-3 before more than 3,100 fans at Compuware Arena. Defenceman Cole Jarrett, a 19-year old Sooite, led the Whalers with a goal and an assist. Jeff Carter had a goal and an assist to lead the Hounds, who also got tallies from Matt Herneisen and defenceman Jordan Smith. Scott Dobben chipped in with a pair of assists. Joey Biasucci got the start in goal for the Hounds after Adam Munro had started the previous 10 games. Biasucci made 37 saves. The Hounds, who fired 24 shots at Plymouth goalie Paul Drew, play in Windsor today.
