Ho Shin Sool club wins 37 medals at martial arts championship

The club also took Grand Champion Cup at the Northern Ontario Martial Arts Championship held in Elliot Lake on April 22

It was a huge weekend for Ho Shin Sool MMA in Sault Ste. Marie! 

Ho Shin Sool received the Best Supporting Club Award at the Northern Ontario Martial Arts Championship hosted by KMAC Elliot Lake. 

Ho Shin Sool led the tournament with a total of 37 medals, including a Grand Champion Cup. The list of competitors includes Jaxon Laframboise; Ray, Levi and Jordan Luzzi; Everett and Will Bryson; Nolan and Mason McGregor; Tegan, Caelen and Ryan Crozier; Paul Bruno; Sawyer Mason; Kiera Lang; Michael Gassi and Jasmine Harnden. 

Association Black Belt grading also took place on Sunday, where Master Jim Liguori was promoted to the seventh degree by the United Korean Martial Arts Alliance. Master Liguori celebrates almost 40 years in martial arts with extensive traditional training under many masters. He also holds Kru level in Muay Thai and coach level in Russian Sambo. 

Ho Shin Sool instructor Ryan Crozier also received his second-degree certification. 

Ho Shin Sool is proud of all its martial artists who share a passion for training and continuous learning.
