The high school hockey schedule saw five games on the schedule last week. The St. Basil Saints picked up a pair of wins, including a 5-2 decision over White Pines on Monday and a 4-1 win over Superior Heights on Wednesday.

The St. Basil Saints picked up a pair of wins, including a 5-2 decision over White Pines on Monday and a 4-1 win over Superior Heights on Wednesday.

In Monday’s win over White Pines, Jesse Tatasciore, Josh Fisher, Andrew Paluzzi and Pat LePore had a goal and an assist each. Dave Toppan also scored/ Nick Duplessis had both goals for White Pines.

On Wednesday, Fisher had another goal and assist in St. Basil’s 4-1 win over Superior Heights. Dan Biocchi also had a goal and an assist in the win while Jon Colombi and Alex Guido also scored. Simon Mangone scored for Superior Heights.

Also on Wednesday, St. Mary’s picked up a 3-0 win over Korah, handing the Colts their first loss of the season. Nick Berlingieri got the shutout while Thomas Pratt had a pair of assists for St. Mary’s while Liam Rising had a goal and an assist. Cody Poirier and Ryan Calvano also scored for St. Mary’s.

Korah rebounded on Friday night with a 3-0 win over White Pines. Zach Quesnele got the shutout while Aaron Savage had a goal and two assists. Erik Simon added a goal and an assist for Korah while Jay Johnson also scored.

The week wrapped up on Sunday night as Superior Heights picked up their first win of the season, beating White Pines 4-1. Colton Manchulenko scored three goals while Ethan McGillivray set up a pair of goals. Pat Heeps also scored for Superior Heights. Nick Duplesis scored for White Pines.
