High school hockey final set

St. Mary's will face Korah for the city high school hockey title

The finalists are set for the Sault Ste. Marie high school hockey title.

The St. Mary's Knights will face the Korah Colts beginning on Monday after the Colts swept the Superior Heights Steelhawks in semifinal action.

The Colts capped off the sweep with a 5-1 win over Superior Heights on Wednesday.

Noah Naccarato had two goals and an assist for Korah while Zack Duchesne added a goal and an assist. Andrew Jalak and Jarrett Litalien also scored for the Colts. Isaac Lennox assisted on a pair of Korah goals.

Gabe Spina had the lone goal for Superior Heights.

St. Mary’s earned a bye into the final by virtue of having the best record in the regular season.

Game one between St. Mary’s and Korah is set for 3:30 p.m. on Monday at the John Rhodes Community Centre. The league will hold an awards presentation prior to the game.
