SUDBURY -- The Soo Greyhounds were outshot 50-36 by the Sudbury Wolves but still managed to escape with an 8-8 tie in OHL action Friday night at the Sudbury Community Arena. Jeff Carter's second goal of the game at the 19:55 mark of the third period pulled the Greyhounds into the tie and overtime did not produce a winner. Sean Stefanski was the other big player for the Soo with three goals. Also scoring for the Soo were Matt Herneisen, Tyler Kennedy and Mike Amodeo. Amodeo's goal midway through the third period pulled the Soo to within one at 8-7 and set the stage for the tying goal by Carter. Joey Biasucci played goal for the Greyhounds and despite giving up eight goals made a number of good saves in starting for only the second time in the Soo's last 20 games.
