After acquiring defenceman Noah Carroll from the Guelph Storm earlier in the week, the Soo Greyhounds moved a defenceman ahead of Tuesday’s Ontario Hockey League trade deadline.

Shortly before Tuesday’s noon deadline, the Greyhounds announced that the team has dealt defenceman Theo Calvas to the Sarnia Sting.

In return the Greyhounds receive a seventh-round pick in 2018.

Calvas played in 29 games this season with the Greyhounds, picking up one assist.

A native of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., Calvas played in 54 career games with the Greyhounds.
