Overage goalie Adam Munro made 47 saves and centre Petr Taticek scored 1:11 into overtime to give the Soo Greyhounds a 3-2 win over the Mississauga IceDogs before 2,555 fans at Memorial Gardens on Saturday night. The win for the Hounds improves their OHL record in the new year to 3-1-1-2 and gives them nine out of a possible 14 points thus far in '03. It was also the Hounds' fourth overtime game in seven starts in the new year. While Munro was the game's first star, his former Erie Otter team mates also got into the act as forwards Jeff Doyle and Scott Dobben scored for the Soo in regulation time. The Hounds took 37 shots at Mississauga goalie Matt Harpwood. Hot NHL prospect Patrick O'Sullivan and Daniel Sisca scored for the IceDogs and Soo native Blair Jarrett had an assist. It's now out on the road for the Hounds, who play their next seven games out of town. The road encounters will be Jan. 30 in Sarnia, Jan. 31 in Saginaw, Feb. 2 in London, Feb. 6 in Guelph, Feb. 7 in Erie, Feb. 9 in Mississauga, and Feb. 11 in Sudbury.
