Coaches selected to lead AAA teams

With the 2017-18 hockey season complete for AAA teams in the Sault Major Hockey Association, the men who will lead those teams next season has been announced.

Among the coaches is a new face leading the major midget club as Alex Cruise will guide the team next season, taking over for Kevin Panco.

Jamie Henderson will return behind the bench of Sault Ste. Marie’s minor midget club.

At the bantam level, Jeff Toms will coach the major bantam team while Dominic Deluca will coach the minor bantams.

At the pee wee level, Mike Cowan has been selected to coach the major pee wee team. Chris Huckson has been selected to coach the minor pee wee team.

In applying to coach a team, candidates were required to submit packages that included a resume, plan for financial responsibility and a yearly plan for on-ice instruction.
