SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.
Mr. Peggy has personality plus. He is very focused on people and constantly trying to make eye contact. When he does, he immediately trots right over for some attention. This friendly fellow makes feline friends easily as well.
Mr Peggy is an older cat, but is exceptionally playful. If you are looking for a loyal feline companion, Mr. Peggy might be a perfect fit.
Black cats are the least likely to be adopted in shelters across North America and usually have a long wait for a new family.
Cats and kittens released for adoption have had a Wellness checkup at the vet’s, FELV testing, shots, dewormer, and flea medication if needed.
If you would like to meet or adopt any of the kittens, or any of the available cats, please contact us.
Visit us at The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) Website, where you will find information on shelter location, hours of operation, ways to help, and adoption information.
The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) is a non-profit registered charity located at 189 Elgin Street, Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, offering rescue foster and ultimately permanent adoption of homeless, unwanted, or neglected pets.
While these animals are in our care, medical attention, spay/neuter services and lots of love are provided until homes are found. Homeless cats stay with TAAG until adopted.
