Only seven days remain this summer as fall officially starts in one week, on Sept. 23. So, Mother Nature has decided to give us one last blast of heat this week before summer officially comes to an end. Temperatures could reach 5-10°C above seasonal values by the end of the week.

Warmer weather returns Monday under a mix of sun and cloud as daytime highs hit 21°C. There is a risk of isolated showers and mist in the morning, and then most of the sun arrives in the afternoon.

Morning clouds will be replaced by sunshine around noon on Tuesday as temperatures climb to near 22°C.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny as daytime highs climb above normal and hit 23°C.

The warm weather continues into Thursday with temperatures near 24°C. A chance of showers moves in for the late afternoon and evening.

The heat keeps building into Friday under mainly sunny skies, and daytime highs could hit 26°C.
