Workweek Outlook: The gloomy, wet weather hangs on

This next active-weather feature will bring another round of cloud cover, rain and colder than normal temperatures for most of this shortened work week

The upper-level slow-moving system that brought cool and cloudy weather this past weekend will finally move out of the province, but another one isn't far behind. This next active-weather feature will bring another round of cloud cover, rain and colder than normal temperatures for most of this shortened work week. If we are lucky, it just might move out of the region fast enough to bring sunshine on Friday.

Tuesday will be cloudy with light rain for most of the day as daytime highs reach 7°C.

Thursday again might bring some early morning sun, but then clouds move back in as temperatures climb to 10°C with a northerly breeze.

Friday brings a mix of sun and cloud, with temperatures still below seasonal values and maxing out near 9°C.

It does look like temperatures finally warm up this coming weekend, but there's a risk that it may come with some rain.
