Workweek Outlook: Spring arrives briefly

There is a risk of substantial snow to end the week and start this coming weekend
weather_weekday_outlook

Spring started at 6:29 a.m. this morning and will likely only last about 12 hours before a hint of winter returns for a while.

The good news is that spring-like temperatures return by the end of this work week, but the bad news is that there is a risk of substantial snow to end the week and start this coming weekend.

Monday will be cloudy with possibly a glimpse of the sun before it sets this evening. Daytime highs should climb above +5C this afternoon before a cool northwest wind drops temperatures below freezing later this evening.

On Tuesday we will see daytime highs near freezing, but gusty west winds will make it feel much cooler.

Even colder temperatures and windchills arrive on Wednesday before a warming trend moves in for the end of the week.

Thursday and early Friday could see a mix of precipitation types during the day as temperatures straddle the freezing point.

This weekend should climb back to normal spring values for late March.
