Workweek Outlook: Out like a lamb

We will slowly build towards more spring-like conditions over the next seven days
weather_weekday_outlook

March came in like a lion with 20cm of blowing snow and blizzard-like conditions. Thankfully it appears that it will go out like a lamb later this week as we slowly build towards more spring-like conditions over the next seven days.

Scattered showers with patchy fog should taper Monday morning with clouds hanging around for the rest of the day. Afternoon temperatures should climb to near +5C.

Warmer air arrives Tuesday and Wednesday under sunny mostly skies as daytime highs climb close to +10C.

A system moves into the Great Lakes Thursday, and it appears we will catch the northern edge. This will cause clouds build into the region with cooler temperatures and bring the risk of some wet snow in the evening.

If the system slips a little further south, we may see no precipitation, if it moves a little further north we could see a heavier snow/rain mix.

Either way, Friday should see clearing skies and warmer air moving back in that should hang on for the coming weekend and to start April.
