Fall officially arrives on Saturday, and the final workweek of summer provides no hint of the cold and snow that are only weeks away. There is no sign of rain for the days ahead (including this coming weekend), and temperatures are expected to be over five degrees warmer than normal for late September.

Monday will be mostly sunny with a northwest breeze that will keep daytime highs near 18°C. Fog Tuesday morning gives way to sunshine for the rest of the day as temperatures climb to 20°C.

The heat and sun keep slowly building into Wednesday as daytime highs reach 22°C.

Thursday and Friday will see a light southerly wind help push temperatures up into the mid-20s under mostly sunny skies.

A slight cool trend may arrive early next week but only drop daytime highs back to more seasonal values for the start of Fall.
