Spring officially arrives this week on Wednesday at 5:58 p.m. From that point on our hours of daylight will begin to exceed the hours of dark, and we should begin to see a more obvious upward trend in heating. Normal daytime highs in the Sault for the start of spring are around +3°C, and the week ahead should settle into a weather pattern that will bring exactly those types of temperatures.

On Monday we will see mostly sunny skies in the morning and the risk of flurries in the afternoon with daytime highs near -1°C..

The sunshine returns on Tuesday with temperatures climbing above freezing to +3°C.

Wednesday starts with the chance of a flurry in the morning, and then a chance of a shower in the afternoon as daytime highs reach +2°C.

Thursday will start out partly cloudy but then clouds and showers arrive in the late afternoon.  Temperatures should climb to near +3°C.

Friday will become sunny and begin a stretch of beautiful weather that will continue into the weekend.  Daytime highs will be near +4°C on Friday, and climb even higher into the weekend.
