The next 10 days suggest the chance of a shower here and there, but no heavy rain is expected in the foreseeable future

In the first half of June over 100 mm of rain has fallen yet the normal amount for a typical June is closer to 70 mm. Some areas east of the city received more than a month's worth of rain in a single 24-hour period last week. The good news is that Mother Nature appears to almost out of rain for the Sault region. The next 10 days suggest the chance of a shower here and there, but no heavy rain is expected in the foreseeable future.

Monday will be mostly sunny with daytime highs near 21°C. Winds will be light and variable with an onshore breeze for waterfront locations.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with sunny breaks and the chance of showers in the late afternoon and early evening. Temperatures should climb to near 20°C despite the cloud cover.

Sunshine returns on Wednesday afternoon but a northwest wind to cause daytime highs to only reach 18°C.

Thursday and Friday should be mostly sunny with temperatures climbing into the low 20s.
