A cold front will sweep across the Sault region early Monday to bring a risk of storms, but many locations will see very little precipitation. This has been the case of much of July as the heaviest rain misses north and south of Sault to Sudbury corridor. Cooler air does briefly move in this week, but warm, dry conditions redevelop quickly. There is some indication that the drought could come to an end next weekend as there is a risk of rain for the entire weekend.

Early morning storms on Monday morning give way to partly cloudy skies for the rest of the day with daytime highs near 26°C.

Tuesday will be a little cooler with a northwest wind keeping temperatures in the low 20s.

Wednesday will be sunny, and a little warmer with daytime highs will be near 25°C.

South winds on Thursday will help push temperatures into the upper 20s under mostly sunny skies.

Friday brings a mix of sun and cloud into the region with a chance of rain and storms in the evening. Daytime highs will be near 27°C.
