The spring-like weather enjoyed this past weekend will hang on for the start of this week, but then a couple of blasts of cooler air arrive for the middle and end of this week. There is the slight chance of a few showers or even wet flurries this week, but no accumulation is likely as daytime highs remain well above freezing. The end of this week will see temperatures 5-10 degrees cooler than the start of the week.
Monday will start out sunny with a few clouds moving in during the afternoon. Warmer than normal temperatures remain over the region with daytime highs in the mid-teens.
Tuesday will bring partly cloudy skies during the morning hours followed by overcast conditions in the evening. Temperatures climb to 16°C in the late afternoon before northwest winds arrive to bring in cooler air and the chance of showers overnight.
Wednesday will see temperatures fall back below 10°C as a cold northerly wind moves into the region. There is the risk of a shower mixed with wet flurries in the early morning.
Thursday will be warmer with temperatures back in the low teens. Cooler weather returns Friday with the risk of a morning shower and wet flurry with daytime highs near 8°C. The cool air will likely hold on into the weekend.
