Graduating Lake Superior State University student Rachel Rowswell (center) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, receives the Sault (Michigan) Area Chamber of Commerce Achievement Award during the Lukenda School of Business annual recognition dinner held April 23 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

The Chamber award is presented each year to an outstanding senior and is one of the highest honors an LSSU business student can receive.

Presenting the award is LSSU marketing professor Valerie Philips and Chamber board chair Tony Haller.

Rowswell is completing dual majors in communication and business administration/marketing with a minor in public relations.

She appeared on the Dean's list every semester - each with an average load of 18-20 credits - of her academic career.
