Winter weather travel advisory in effect for Sault and area

Road conditions, visibility will be impacted by blowing snow

Environment Canada has issued a winter weather advisory for Tuesday morning.

The weather advisory is in effect for Sault Ste. Marie - St. Joseph Island and north to Searchmont - Montreal River Harbour - Batchawana Bay.

Environment Canada says lake effect snow beginning early Tuesday morning could affect road conditions and visibility.

Local snowfall accumulations near 10 cm are likely before the heaviest band of lake effect snow pushes south of the area early Tuesday afternoon, Environment Canada says.
