Windy conditions knocks out power in west end (update: restored)

As of 3 p.m., the PUC reports that power has been restored in all affected areas.

High winds have led to a power outage affecting 794 PUC customers in the west end of the city.

Power was knocked out around 2 p.m. this afternoon and is out in areas including Second Line West south of Bonney Street and Allen's Side Road east to Goulais Avenue.

Crews are working to get power restored in all areas.

It's the second outage reported today after an earlier outage affected areas including the P-Patch. Power to those affected areas was restored shortly after 1 p.m.
