A couple of 18-year-old Saultites are facing drug trafficking charges after a search of their home in the 100 block of McNabb Street.

Arriving around 1:50 p.m. yesterday, police seized ready-for-sale packets of cocaine, marijuana and cannabis resin.

"The drugs, which were individually packaged for sale, have an estimated street value of approximately $3,000," City Police said in a written statement.

Christopher Robinson and William Fleming are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a substance, possession of stolen property and breach of probation.

The young entrepreneurs are due in court April 19.

Fire at hospital

In an unrelated matter, police tell us there was a small fire at the hospital yesterday, apparently starting in somebody's paper shredder.

And there was a bunch of construction equipment taken from Ontario Concrete on Great Northern Road.
