What the police found last night at 41 Princess Crescent

Three people are facing narcotics-related charges after the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service's Problem Oriented Policing unit came calling last night at a Princess Crescent apartment complex.

Three people are facing narcotics-related charges after the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service's Problem Oriented Policing unit came calling last night at a Princess Crescent apartment complex.

Police say they found five grams of cocaine in a unit at 41 Princess, as well as two grams of cannabis resin and some marijuana.

Also seized from the apartment were trafficking-associated paraphernalia including scales and a quantity of cash.

Charged with possession of a narcotic for trafficking purposes is Ronald Rennison, 42, of Copernicus Drive.

23-year-old Sarah Mergaert of Princess Crescent and 48-year-old Glen Stevens of Trelawne Avenue, and Rennison are all charged with possessing controlled drugs.

Rennison and Stevens are also charged with breaching bail documents.

Rennison and Stevens will make a video court appearance this morning.

Mergaert has been released pending a court appearance on August 8.
