ORIGINAL NEWS RELEASE FROM CITY POLICE

********************* At 3:11 a.m. City Police were dispatched to an address in the 100 block of Churchill Avenue and advised, by the complainant, that a male had just broken into a rear shed and stolen their dog.

A search of the area resulted in the police locating the accused and the dog coming out of a bush area on Hampton Road. Charged with theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property, possession of break-and-enter instruments and breach of probation by violating the condition that he not consume alcohol is: Steven Vincent D’Orazio, D.O.B.: 21 April 1983, of 46 Chippewa Street.

He will be attending bail court today at 10 a.m.

Good Morning.

In this morning’s news release I incorrectly stated that Steven Vincent D’Orazio, D.O.B.: 21 April 1983, of 46 Chippewa Street had been charged with theft of a dog.

The item he stole was a rotto-tiller, not a rottweiller dog.
