CITY POLICE NEWS RELEASE
************************ Yesterday City Police officers arrested two young persons for break and enter.
It is alleged that around 3 p.m. yesterday, two youths attended a residence in the 200 block of Wellington Street East and forced their way in.
They set some property aside, but were frightened off and left the residence.
These two youths and a third youth reattended at the same address around 4 p.m., and unbeknownst to the youths the homeowner was in the residence this time.
The homeowner was able to apprehend one of the youths and turned the youth over to the City Police.
Later in the evening a second youth was arrested, and officers are still looking for the third youth to arrest. A 17-year-old youth has been charged with one count of break and enter, and a 15-year-old has been charged with one count of break and enter and one count of breach of probation. They will both appear in court on the 19th of October.
