Weekend Outlook: West coast weather and a chance of snow tires

With the cold temperatures, we will undoubtedly see an increased risk of snow each time it tries to rain

For the last week, temperatures have remained colder than normal, and that trend looks to continue into next week. The relentless rain makes it feel more like a Canadian west coast winter than the crisp sunny fall days spent raking and jumping into leaves that we've come to expect. With the cold temperatures, we will undoubtedly see an increased risk of snow each time it tries to rain. It sounds like it's time for snow tires and a warm fire.

The rain will taper off to showers on Friday morning, changeover to wet flurries in the late afternoon and then end early in the evening. Daytime highs will only reach 4°C with gusty northerly winds developing that will make it feel more like the freezing mark (or lower!)

Another cool day is on tap for Saturday under mostly cloudy skies and a chance of isolated flurries. Temperatures will remain a few degrees above freezing, but at least the winds will let up a bit.

Sunday will remain mostly cloudy with a chance of evening flurries and daytime highs near 5°C. More of the same weather continues into most of next week.
