Temperatures over five degrees warmer than normal will continue for the Sault region this coming weekend. In the first half of this month only two days recorded below normal temperatures. Most of the rest were above. Enjoy the warm weather while it's here because next week shows a change in the weather patterns that could make it feel more like late August.

A few morning clouds give way to mostly sunny skies on Friday. Temperatures climb to near 29°C with gusty northwest winds keeping locations near Lake Superior a few degrees lower.

Saturday will be mostly sunny again with the light north winds.  Daytime temperatures will be near  27°C, but a bit of humidity will make it feel more like 30°C.

Sunshine carries into Sunday with temperatures in the upper 20s. The next chance of widespread rain arrives late Monday into Tuesday when the first organized low-pressure system hits the region for the first time in quite a while.
