Weekend Outlook: A not so cold front arrives

The good news is that there will only be a drop in temperatures by a few degrees from the start to the end of the weekend

Another weekend arrives with a risk of rain in the middle. Our weekly cold front arrives sometime later on Saturday to bring some scattered storms and a wind shift to the Sault region. The good news is that there will only be a drop in temperatures by a few degrees from the start to the end of the weekend. Hopefully, the wet stuff holds off until Saturday night, and both days will bring plenty of summer weather.

Friday will become mostly sunny with daytime highs near 29°C, but a southeasterly breeze will develop and bring in even more humid air and push Humidex values to near 35.

Saturday will remain warm, with temperatures climbing to near 27°C. A few clouds move in during the morning, and then scattered thunderstorms arrive in the late afternoon and early evening as the cold front pushes through the region.

Sunshine returns on Sunday as slightly cooler air moves into the region. Temperatures only fall to 24°C with gusty northwest winds.
