Weekend Outlook: A cold front splits the long weekend in half

Cold front, may bring some scattered showers
weather_weekend_outlook2

The start of this long weekend's weather will look much different than the end. A cold front arrives on Sunday to push muggy conditions out of the region and make way for several days of cooler temperatures. With that cold front, we can expect some scattered showers followed by a fresh northerly breeze.

Friday will be mostly sunny with a few afternoon clouds and daytime highs to near 25°C.

Saturday morning will be sunny with a few clouds and calm winds. Daytime highs should reach 28°C, but with the humidity, it'll feel more like the low 30s.

The cold front arrives on Sunday to bring the shower or storm risk in the afternoon, but daytime highs should still hit the low 20s – as long as the cold front doesn't speed up.

Monday will be mostly cloudy with daytime highs only reach 19°C. This colder than average weather will continue into much of next week.
