  • Searchmont - Montreal River Harbour - Batchawana Bay

Freezing rain likely on Sunday.

A fast-moving low pressure system currently over New Mexico will cross the Great Lakes tonight into Sunday. It will spread freezing rain or ice pellets into the region beginning late tonight. Several hours of freezing rain are possible before a changeover to brief rain later Sunday morning.

Roads and other cold untreated surfaces will likely become slippery Sunday morning before temperatures rise above freezing during the day.

Freezing rain warnings will likely be issued as the event approaches.

10 to potentially 20 cm of snow likely.

A fast-moving low pressure system currently over New Mexico will cross the Great Lakes tonight into Sunday. It will spread snow into the region tonight into Sunday. Current indications suggest total snowfall amounts may range between 10 and 20 cm. The snow will taper off to a few flurries by Sunday evening.

Snowfall warnings are in effect for regions around Lake Superior and may be extended as the event approaches.
