Abigail Hamilton (shown) was part of a very excited cheering section today when her senior kindergarten teacher at W.M. Merrifield Public School, Karen Crema, was presented with the school's prestigious Golden Dustpan award for keeping a tidy and well-organized classroom. The presentation was part of Merrifield's Student of the Month award ceremony, which was special this month because for the first time such awards are being sponsored district-wide by Algoma University College.
