Watermain repair to affect traffic on McNabb Street

McNabb Street will be closed to eastbound traffic from Blake Street to Great Northern Road

The PUC would like to advise the public of a planned traffic restriction this evening at the intersection of Great Northern Road and McNabb Street. The traffic restriction will begin at 9 p.m. (Dec. 18) and is necessary to facilitate the decommissioning of a broken watermain.

During this process, McNabb Street will be closed to eastbound traffic from Blake Street to Great Northern Road.

Additionally, Great Northern Road will be reduced to a single northbound lane and a single southbound lane, at the McNabb Street intersection. This traffic restriction is necessary to ensure the safety of PUC crews as well as the travelling public.
