Water main break on Peoples Road

At approximately 5:30 a.m., a water main break was confirmed in the vicinity of Peoples Road near Hillside Drive.

As a result, customers on Peoples Road between Fairview Avenue and Penno Road as well as all of Hillside Drive have had their water service interrupted.

PUC emergency crews were dispatched early this morning and have started repairs.

During this process, traffic flow will be restricted on Peoples Road between Fairview Avenue and Penno Road while crews conduct repairs.

This traffic restriction is necessary to ensure the safety of repair crews as well as the travelling public.
