Water main break closes Pine Street

Early this morning a water main broke on Pine Street opposite the Sault Armory.

As a result, customers in the area have had their water services interrupted.

PUC emergency crews were dispatched early this morning and have started repairs.

During the repair process, Pine Street between Ontario Avenue and Breton Road will be closed to all traffic while crews conduct repairs.

The streets affected by the road closure are:

  • Pine Street
  • Ontario Avenue
  • Breton Road

This traffic restriction is necessary to ensure the safety of repair crews as well as the travelling public.
