SooToday is a proud sponsor of this year's virtual celebration of local innovation, creativity, leadership and entrepreneurship at the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Achievement Awards, hosted by Timothy Murphy and SooToday's Jasmyn Rowley.

The annual celebration of the success and achievements of local businesses, organizations and agencies presented an advance screening of the awards on July 29 with all proceeds from tickets sales donated to support the work of the Algoma Vaccination Support Council (AVSC).

Founded by the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce and STRIVE YPG, the AVSC provides support wherever possible with local vaccination efforts, such as food and beverages for vaccination clinic staff and volunteers, transportation for those unable to secure transportation to vaccination clinics and management of rapid screening test kit distribution to Sault Ste. Marie and area small businesses.
