SAULT STE MARIE, MI – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Field Operations today announced the closure of the Drummond Island reporting station for the 2016 winter snowmobile season.

Quickly deteriorating ice conditions has closed the ice bridge earlier than expected and CBP Office of Field Operations out of Sault Ste Marie, MI has ended scheduled service as of March 6, 2016.
