Wanted youth receives additional charges

On August 25, 2014 at 8 p.m., patrol officers arrested and charged a 16-year-old youth on the strength of several outstanding warrants.

The young person was wanted for two counts of failing to attend court and printing and five counts of breach of probation.

Officers also learned that on August 24 at 1 a.m., the youth attend a residence in the west end with a BB gun and threatened the occupant’s there.

The young person fired the BB gun several times damaging the home.

The youth then left the residence with a quantity of alcohol.

No one was injured in this incident.

The young person has been further charged with mischief under $5,000, assault with a weapon, pointing a firearm, breach of probation and unlawfully in a dwelling house.

The youth will appear in bail court on August 26.
