VIDEO: Waterbomber and copter show us how it's done

Bushplane Days attendees enjoyed aerial firefighting demonstrations presented by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry

A Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry CL-415 waterbomber and EC-130 helicopter demonstrated their aerial fire fighting techniques at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre's annual Bushplane Days event on Sunday, Sept. 17.

The helicopter used a 'gabby' to pick up water and then drop it with pinpoint accuracy. This is good for fighting small fires in the bush. The waterbomber is used for larger fires.
