The homeowner has confirmed that seven firearms were taken from the home, including four long guns and one .22-calibre handgun.

Original news release - December 16, 6:38 p.m.

A break and enter was reported in the 900 block of North St. when a family member attended to check the residence.

The house is described as ransacked.

Entry was gained through a bedroom window between Friday afternoon and 3:00 p.m. today.

A gun locker has been entered and it is believed four long guns and one .22 calibre handgun have been stolen pending confirmation and return of the homeowners.
