The Security Council of the United Nations has today passed a resolution requiring Syria to co-operate fully with an investigation into the murder of former Lebanese Prime Minister Hariri.

The Security Council of the United Nations has today passed a resolution requiring Syria to co-operate fully with an investigation into the murder of former Lebanese Prime Minister Hariri.

The resolution was adopted unanimously by all 15 member nations.

Howeverm threatened sanctions against Syria were dropped at the last minute.
