Two parked vehicles hit, Shane charged with impaired

On July 31, 2014 patrol officers attended to a driving complaint in the downtown area.

The vehicle that had been described was located and being operated by 50-year-old Shane Cottrell (aka Sharp).

The vehicle struck two other vehicles while entering a parking lot.

A short investigation revealed the driver to be in an intoxicated state and the vehicle that he was driving had been taken without the owner’s consent.

As a result, Shane Cottrell has been charged with Take Motor Vehicle without Consent and Care and Control while Ability is Impaired.

He will appear in court on August 25, 2014.
